PIANO CAMPS group students by their ability and level in piano.  Camps focus attention on studying note reading, rhythm, music symbols, sight reading, listening and keyboard skills.  Games and competitions in the camp activities provide additional incentives to excel. 

Intermediate students can take a week of That’s Jazz!  Students will learn how to improvise, play by ear and have fun playing jazz tunes.  Students must have a minimum of 1 year of lessons to enroll in That’s Jazz.

Camps are held for one week, 60 minutes each day.  There is a maximum of 6 students per camp.  Materials are passed out the first day of camp.

GUITAR CAMPS are for any student who is a beginner.  Whether you’ve never touched a guitar before, or you just started your lessons, sign up for this guitar camp to learn more about proper techniques in holding a guitar, the note names of strings, note reading, and learn to play simple songs!

 

Guitar Camps are one week long, 60 minutes each day.  There is a maximum of 8 students per camp.  Each student must provide their own guitar. Materials will be passed out at the first day of camp.

Want to be the next Idol?  Then this camp is for you!  During this week long camp, students will learn vocal techniques, breathing techniques, voice control and placement, auditioning etiquette and performance techniques.

 

The Next Idol is one week long for 90 minutes.  There is a maximum of 12 students per camp.  There are no materials required.

Private Lessons for guitar, piano and voice are scheduled throughout the summer.  You are welcome to taken one lesson every week, or just a few.  Whatever fits your summer vacation plans!  You pay for only the lessons that you sign up for!

 

Private lessons can be scheduled Monday through Friday at a time of your choice.  Times vary by instructor.

 

Piano and Guitar lessons are $22 per 30 minute lesson.  Voice lessons are $45 per 30 minute lesson.

 

Materials are required.  If your student already uses the Alfred Premier Piano Course or Alfred Basic Guitar Method, no material fee is required.  If your student needs materials, they will be required by their first lesson.  Piano books are $22 for Lesson, Theory and Performance (all required).  Guitar books are $8.
