Little Mozarts Camps Ages: 4 and 5 year olds
Your little student will begin to learn how to sit at the piano; Correct hand position; High and low; forte and piano; Keyboard topography; Bar line and measure, Quarter, half, whole notes and rests; and Repeat signs.
Student’s lesson and recital book interweave new music into an all-new story about Beethoven Bear, Mozart Mouse and the Magical Music Book. Students will enjoy the imaginative story while applying what they have learned.
A keyboard or piano is not required at home for this camp. There is a maximum of 4 students per camp. Materials are passed out the first day of camp.
Blast Off With Piano Ages: 6-12 years
Blast Off With Piano focuses on studying note reading, rhythm, music symbols, sight reading, listening and keyboard skills. This camp is for any student wanting to give piano a try that has never taken lessons. It’s a perfect opportunity for any student to try out piano without a semester long commitment. A keyboard or piano is not required at home for this camp.
There is a maximum of 6 students per camp. Materials are passed out the first day of camp.
Mini Maestros students currently in level 1A
Sign up your mini-maestro for a week of developing ear training skills and composition as well as ensemble playing. They will work on development of the ear with rhythmic, melodic and intervallic concepts. Mini-Maestros will also develop their creativity and compositional skills, while reinforcing important musical concepts including music reading and notation.
There is a maximum of 6 students per camp. Materials are passed out the first day of camp.
Junior Maestros student currently in level 1B or 2A
Junior Maestros will develop their ear training skills, composition, and ensemble playing. Students will develop their ear with rhythmic, melodic and intervallic concepts. Junior Maestros will also develop their creativity and compositional skills, while reinforcing important musical concepts including music reading and notation.
There is a maximum of 6 students per camp. Materials are passed out the first day of camp.
Beginners Guitar Camp Ages 8-14 years
Guitar Camp is for any student who is a beginner. Whether you’ve never touched a guitar before, or you just started your lessons, sign up for this guitar camp to learn more about proper techniques in holding a guitar, the note names of strings, note reading, and learn to play simple songs!
There is a maximum of 8 students per camp. Each student must provide their own guitar. Materials will be passed out at the first day of camp.
The Next Idol Singing Camp Ages 7-12 years
Want to be the next Idol? Then this camp is for you! During this week long camp, students will learn vocal techniques, breathing techniques, voice control and placement, auditioning etiquette and performance techniques.
The Next Idol is one week long for 90 minutes each day.
There is a maximum of 12 students per camp.
Piano, Guitar and Voice Ages 6 - adult
Private Lessons for guitar, piano and voice are scheduled throughout the summer. You are welcome to taken one lesson every week, or just a few. Whatever fits your summer vacation plans! You pay for only the lessons that you sign up for!
Piano and Voice lessons begin at age 6. Guitar begins at age 8.
Private lessons can be scheduled Monday through Friday at a time of your choice. Times vary by instructor.
Inspire your child’s love of learning in only five lessons. In a Kindermusik summer camp, blow music bubbles, play parachute and kite games, make yard art from a glue jar, sing. All these summer camp activities - the music, stories, and crafts - are designed to nurture your child’s natural curiosity, one that eventually draws her or his toward learning new works, new numbers, and new big ideas.
Music Appreciation Ages 10 - adult
Every musician needs to understand the basics of music theory. Music appreciation will help musicians examine the language and notation of music. Students will analyze the fundamental elements of music—rhythm, harmony, melody, structure, form, texture, etc.
Students will be exposed to music appreciation. Students will be taught what to listen for and to appreciate different types of music. Music appreciation will look at different eras in history.
Class will meet once a week, for 10 weeks (skipping July 4th) for one hour.
